Our Client is one of the largest architectural building product distributors in Western Canada. The company is known for bringing customers and suppliers alike a vast amount of product knowledge and experience. The company has been long term distributors of some of the top architectural design brands in North America.
 

Our client has been experiencing rapid growth and is needing a Marketing Communications Specialist for their Edmonton office (Head Office) to help promote the company and gain brand awareness. As a Marketing Communications Specialist you need to be self reliant and show initiative and take direction. In addition, having a creative and architectural design flare is an asset. This is a mid to senior level role so you must be able to work independently with little supervision and report directly to the COO.

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing messaging, executing newsletters, web marketing, social media, developing marketing collaterals, setting up programs and dealing with supplies & vendors.

To be successful in this role:

• Minimum 3-5 years Marketing related experience

• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication

• Familiar with new emerging technologies; social media, web and systems

• Have a creative eye and attention to detail

• Ability to work people - team player

• Have a clear understanding of the market and the end user

• Able to make decisions and be accountable

• Ability to increase leads and exposure
